Our internal publishing utility

Silver Media Network Publishing is a private, agent-operated utility for publishing authorised videos to the network’s own YouTube channels. It is not a public upload service, social network, subscription or marketplace.

What it does

An authorised SMN operator uses the utility to upload an approved original, attach its supplied thumbnail, save video metadata and read back the exact channel and video state through YouTube API Services. Existing videos are addressed by their original IDs rather than uploaded again. Native YouTube Studio remains available for disclosure, supported finishing and the final release.

Google authorisation

The account owner explicitly authorises access through Google OAuth. YouTube’s video-management permission covers the technical API actions; this utility uses it only for authorised channel/video operations. It does not request Gmail, contacts or Google Drive API access. It offers no public sign-up.

Your control

Owners retain control of their accounts and content. Access can be revoked in Google Account permissions. For access or data-deletion requests, an authorised owner can use their existing SMN operator contact or the support contact displayed on the Google authorisation screen.

Read the privacy notice and terms of use for this utility.
